German glam rockers Tokio Hotel were huge in the 00's, all over the world they gathered stadiums full of screaming girls. But not in the US. There was a moment when the band won numerous awards from MTV and were on the verge of winning American audience, but their English-language debut song Scream failed in the charts. They still have a devoted fanbase in Europe, Asia, and Latin America, but it looks like Americans are not into glam anymore.
