I dont know if you guys have heard about this or not but MTV is having a contest where they are trying to find the biggest fan of any music artist etc out there and one of the members of the tokio hotel canada forum and canadian street team, jannel, has made it into the TOP 10 for tokio hotel! Right now she is in second place but I think that it would be such great exposure for the band and such an amazing oppourtunity for her if she would win! You can vote once a day but please vote and hopefully she'll win! group.

"I am tokio hotel's biggest fan, without a doubt. I have been listening to them since their first single was released in German in 2005, and I have never ever given up on them, no matter how much I was ridiculed for liking a band with such an interesting look. their music has helped me through a lot these past years, whether it was in its original German or in English and because of this, all I want is for the world to know how much I love and appreciate this band. Through working for them (for their Official Canadian Street Team). I had the chance to meet them twice before; in Febuary of 2008 and then again on my sixteenth birthday in May. With the street team, I have lead and participated in many fan events and fan actions to promote Tokio Hotel and get more attention for them. For the past year, me and the other street teamers have been working our BUMS off to get tokio hotel to pay attention to their north american fans, and now that they have, I can only say that this is just the beginning. I'm the greatest superfan because I have a dedication and determination to make this band know exactly who I am, a perseverance that I have never seen in anyone else, ever. In fact, I have my entire life planned around Tokio Hotel. My mother is getting remarried this summer, and she knows that if her wedding happened to get in the way of a Tokio Hotel concert, she needs to get another Main of Honour, because I sure as heck won't make it! Later this summer I plan on getting their logo tattooed on the back of my neck, just like the lead singer has done, and I turned down any plans to leave Toronto all summer, in fear of a concert being scheduled here that I can't make. I would gladly give up my friends, my family, my entire future for Tokio Hotel. I have never felt so strongly about anythign in my life. I don't even plan on applying to university or college, because I know that I'll be a famous singer engaged to Tokio Hotel's guitarist before I graduate high school.
